Today needs a date with you. So many people have been saying 'there's something happening right now and I can't figure out what it is.'  and I've been totally feeling the same way for the last week as well and something told me to check out what was going on with the moon and this is not very typical of me. So I did and excitedly found out that today is a New Moon. It's a time of facing our fears and embracing a deep trust that someway, somehow we will be supported in whatever we decide to do next once we let go. So I invite you to join us and howl at the moon. Just kidding, well actually kinda not. Sandra and I were totally pretending to howl at the moon while doing work in the office last night.  It was so great and crazy and wonderful and all the reasons why we make the best team!

I then of course reached out to Jenn Spinelli who knows everything about this stuff (you may have taken  one of her workshops at the studio) and she shared that  "today is a New Moon in Gemini, so it's a time of reflection & clearing. Gemini= 2 Faces. In this case, it's a big mirror to be constructive with the criticisms you have for yourself." 

It's time to look at our lives through loving eyes. It's a powerful moment to genuinely  embrace and give thanks to everything and everyone that has brought us to this point in our lives. Let's give kisses to our fears and open our eyes wide to the magic of the unknown without anxiety.  Let's all let go of something that is no longer supporting and weighing us down. It's a time for all of us to create freedom to thrive and fully bloom. 

This is why you'll need time alone or maybe have a group of like minded friends to share this experience and opportunity with. Maybe you'll meet every month. This is the perfect time to take an inquiry on goals, desires, habits, people, & places that you invest in. Here are a few ways you can gain the benefits of the new moon energy:

It's best to avoid over stimulation, so engage in anything that will make you feel calm & grounded. 

• Journal

• Yoga & Meditation

• Walk in nature

• Take a warm bath 

Enjoy your time reconnecting with yourself. Don't be afraid to take a look at yourself and really practice acceptance will doing it. Ask yourself the uncomfortable questions. Ask for what you really want. Honor who you really are and really let yourself let go. It's scary but it'll create so much more space for whatever you may be grasping onto to evolve or to let something that's more perfect for you now to move on in!

Remind every cell in your body that taking time for yourself is your #1 priority, especially for today and for every day for the rest of your life.

New Moon Milk Bath

The beginning of each new month is a time of reflection and inwardness. Celebrate in a soothing bath!

What you will need:

• 2 cups of Powdered milk

• 1/2 cup of Epsom salt

• 1/2 cup of Baking soda

• 6 drops of vanilla essential oil

• 4 drops of gardenia absolute oil

• 4 drops of orange essential oil

Bowl

Jar with lid

What to do:

1. In a bowl, add all of the dry ingredients and mix well.

2. Stir in each essential oil and blend. Store in a jar with a lid to keep airtight.

3. To use, pour 1 cup of mixture into a running bath and swish to mix thoroughly.
